All-in-1 Media Converter family introduced in China                                             

F3 announced an All-in-1 Media Converter SoC chip family   in April, 2003.  The "FMYF2"chip, Including 10/100M TX PHY, 100M FX PHY, 256Kb embedded SRAM, on-chip TS-1000 OAM function, is a versatile media converter solution for FTTx, center-to-center, surveillance or Industrial PC applications. The "FCYF2" chip, a compact version of FMYF2, has taken out the TS-1000 management function, is a cost effective version for those applications that  don't need management functions. Both FMYF2 and FCYF2 chips also support 10M speed up to 300m distance at the TP copper end which is useful for many distance critical applications.
