F3¡¦s new Media Converter solution, FQYF2 offers Programmable Rate
Control (PRC) with prioritized service and Customer-defined OAM.

Inc. announced in advance a new Media Converter solution which meets
Telecomm FTTx required function for managing subscriber access through
bandwidth control and many other features.
The
FQYF2¡¦s advanced prioritized PRC can be set accurately by 32Kbps per
step resolution for using in a classified subscriber service in order
to guarantee & limit bandwidth to various specific users in FTTx.
Especially for qualified voice traffic needs. Under prioritized PRC,
FQYF2 can forward prioritized-tag packets (VLAN tag) in order to carry
voice traffic with contiguousness in the first mile of access
networks.
The
FQYF2 also integrates Customer-defined OAM (Operation, Administration,
& Maintenance) for additional OAM information to be maintained with
more flexibility. FQYF2 also has auto-MDI/MDIX could be
enabled/disabled.
The
FQYF2 is fully compatible with FJYF2/FMYF2/FCYF2 and will be available
soon in the end of Q3, 2004.
