USB VoIP to Telephone Line: Recordable Personal SkypeOut & SkypeIn      

F3’s new USB VoIP to telephone line solution, 03/31/2005 F3 releases a VoIP chip application that let you realize VoIP without any subscription to become a VoIP user.

The FUP1 is a chip that converts USB to audio PCM and has a lot of features. They include dual-way recording (patent pending), two-path PCMs especially can switch between SLIC & DAA telephony applications.

The FUP1 can be a dual-way recording device, an assistant telephony device with answering machine, even connecting Skype^TM and PSTN (Public Switched Telephone Network) as an Instant Messenger and PSTN bridge using call forwarding mechanism (see Figure 1), performing SkypeOut without any subscription, and whatever VoIP application you might think of it.
