F3 Inc. introduces Sky911, a VoIM/ VoIP adapter to support both Skype and PSTN

Hsinchu, Taiwan, March 10, 2006 ¡V F3 Inc. today announced the Sky911, a feature-rich and high quality dual-port ATA solution to expand its VoIM/ VoIP adapter family. The Sky911, enabling Skype/ PSTN applications with existing regular or cordless phone, provides economic and flexible solutions for resident, SOHO and SMB.

Thanks to F3¡¦s unique features, two RJ11 auto-swap and Cheese Button, provide flexible usage and convenience for users. In addition, the Sky911 is able to auto-detect and auto-switch from a Skype mode to PSTN in the event of PC shut down or power failure, and to provide functions and services like emergency call (911).

F3 Inc. offers an ATA development kit that provides all of the hardware and software necessary to develop two RJ11 ports of ATA solutions with FUP1, a USB to audio PCM processor for VoIP.

Availability

Samples of Sky911 and FUP1 chip are available now. The production quantities begin available in April 2006.
