Hsinchu, Taiwan, May 18, 2007 -F3 Inc. today announced to take over
Voxelle VoIP product line from Smartlink, an Israel company. It
includes PCI(VL2848) and USB(VL1800, VL1600) host interface solution
to build VoIP adapters as a Skype gateway.

VoIP Gateway solutions - TLink™ and TPort™ enables OEMs and ODMs to
build low cost, feature-rich Analog Telephone Adaptors (ATA) for
PC-based VoIP services such as Skype. TLink™ and TPort™ enables VoIP
users to make and receive free or low-cost calls using their
existing cordless and mobile phones without having to be tethered to
their PC.
In
addition to Voxelle product line, F3 also engages in Smartlinkˇ¦s
VoIP customers which include some worldwide PC manufactures. With
VoIP adapter solution built in PC, this PC will become a Phone ready
PC. User doesnˇ¦t need to worry about complex software installation
and even Skype™ client software can be installed in advance. All
need to do is to connect a phone and landline with these two RJ11
jacks and then pick up phone for VoIP calls.
Smartlinkˇ¦s PCI adapter solution expands F3ˇ¦s portfolio for VoIP
product line and their past experiences on software modem provide
values for VoIP application such as adopting discrete components
with software function to replace SLIC and DAA function. Software
line echo cancellation technology improves voice quality.
