The FH3305L is a highly integrated Hub Controller designed for mixed-media network. It provided all active circuitry required for the repeater function specified in IEEE 802.3 standard in one single CMOS device. It includes 8/5 10BASE-T transceivers, one Attachment Unit Interface (AUI) port (FH3308L only) and one cascade bus (FH3308L only). The AUI port allows connection of external transceiver (10BASE2, 10BASE5, 10BASE-T, FOIRL) or a drop cable. The stack Bus allows more FH3308L to be cascaded together to increase the total number of hub ports. FH3305L offers rich-set of LED display outputs. They can provide a friendly interface to recognize the network status. It can extend the line transceiver capability to transmit / receive data with which F3 declared (e.g. FY8, FH5V/3V, etc ¡K) on standard CAT5 UTP cable over 300 meters ( F3 patent pending ).
